Hi there! I’m Margie—host of Founded By Women, mom of three, and forever curious human.
Founded By Women is a long-form podcast where I sit down with brilliant female founders to explore how they’ve built their companies and who they’ve become along the way. These are women who lead companies, shape culture, and are still figuring it out . . . just like the rest of us!
My journey started with Moms Who Build, a show where I interviewed female founders who were also moms like me. Building while parenting resonated with many, but there were also founders and listeners with different journeys; and their stories deserve to be told and heard too. So, the show evolved. Founded By Women features a broad range of female voices, each one building something they believe in.
And while sharing these women-led stories has been thrilling, something unexpected happened along the way: I discovered my own voice. Growing up, I wasn’t encouraged to speak up or stand out. Even now, the nudge to stay small still shows up. But not here. These conversations and the women in front of them have shown me how powerful it is to be curious, to use your voice, and to keep learning out loud. I’m deeply grateful for the ways they’ve inspired me and shaped my thinking. And I have a feeling that their stories will spark something in you too.
